Incorporating images into your learning modules can be a strategic tool to improve the visual appeal and ease of content discernment within a course. You can now use stock images from Unsplash or generate images with AI Design Assistant to help integrate the images into your learning modules.
Search stock images from Unsplash: Enter keywords to search for and select high-quality, royalty-free images.
Generate images with the AI Design Assistant: Image generation allows you to leverage insights from the learning module description and other contextual cues in the course. To further empower instructors, they can describe the ideal image and regenerate images.
Click on the Ellipses (…) on the right side of the module, and then select Edit
In the pop-up window that opens, scroll down, and click Add image. From the drop-down menu under Image Source, select Stock images from Unsplash
Based on the Title and Description of the module, it will auto-populate the search with AI-generated text. If it doesn’t populate what you were looking for, you can enter your own text in the search bar to find royalty-free images from Unsplash. Select the image you would like to use and click Next
You can move the box around on the image to get the image selection you want to show. You can also use the slider to zoom in and out of the image. When you are happy with the image, click Save and then Save again
The image you selected is now the image for your module
Click on the Ellipses (…) on the right side of the module, and then select Edit
In the pop-up window that opens, scroll down, and click Add image. From the drop-down menu under Image Source, select Generate Images. The AI Design Assistant will use the title of the course and the description to automatically generate images
To find a more specific AI Generated Image, type in keywords into the Describe an image box, and click Generate. Select the image you would like to use for your Module and click Next
You can move the box around on the image to get the image selection you want to show. You can also use the slider to zoom in and out of the image. When you are happy with the image, click Save. Under Accessibility, you can enter Alternative Text making it easier for people with visual impairments to perceive the image. Just uncheck the Mark the image as decorative box. Click Save to add your image to the module
The image you selected is now the image for your module
