Interviewing

Having completed and sent your employment documents, you get the call to close the deal through an interview! This is your chance to shine and land that job. There are many suggestions about what to do, and not do, in an interview. The resources below will give you an idea of what aspects of interviewing to think about, but also remember to be yourself and enjoy the experience – we only get better with practice.

Interview Stream is a website to practice your interviewing skills and is available anytime through MyCampus.  You can create an account using your college email address (xxxxxxxx@northwoodtech.edu).

• Getting Started with Interview Stream Guide
• Interview Stream will ask you a typical interview question through playing videos.
• Using your webcam and microphone, the website will record your answer to the interview question
• Watch your interview to observe your responses and posture
• You can also share your interview with friends, family, or an instructor for feedback
