Innovative Teaching and Learning Center (iTLC)
The iTLC has lots of staff available to support you during your time at Northwood Technical College.
Each campus has an iTLC—you can stop in to the campus nearest you or visit us online through
iTLC.NorthwoodTech.edu.
We can offer the same supports on campus or online. Below is a breakdown of the staff you’ll find in the iTLC.
-
Learning Technology Specialists: your go-to staff for assistance with Blackboard, Microsoft 365,
using your college email, or any other software that you need for completing your class.
There is also an open computer lab and WiFi.

-
Classroom Technology Specialists: If you're attending a class through BlueJeans, these staff will be
your local facilitators. With your instructor on another campus, the CTS staff will support the technology to keep
you connected to class. They also support the Library on each campus. The Library has reserve
material available to support your coursework.
-
Math, Science, and Writing Lab Specialists: These staff are available to assist with review,
studying, or quick refreshers in the areas of math, science, and writing. You can work with a Writing Lab Specialist
to punch up your research paper, brush up on algebra skills with a Math Lab Specialist, or review a physiology
assignment with a Science Lab Specialist.
