Biography

My name is Jenna Curtis and I’m the Health Education Center Simulation Technician. I’m a Registered Nurse and have experience in geriatric, inpatient, and emergency care. As a Northwood Tech ADN program alumni, I’m able to share the student perspective and work with the HEC team to create the best learning opportunities. My role supports the simulation experience by operating the manikins and the physiologic changes that happen due to the patient’s condition, as well as any nursing interventions that are implemented. Simulation is a great time to strengthen the knowledge and skills students have learned in class as they transition into the role of a nurse.
