Why sync your Northwood Tech OneDrive to your computer?
- Access your frequently used OneDrive files directly from File Explorer
- Create or edit files offline, and they sync to your OneDrive when your computer connects to the internet
- Drag and drop files from your local device into your OneDrive through File Explorer.
Important items to understand before you set up syncing:
- Deleting a file from your computer also deletes it from the cloud.
- Making changes to a file on your computer or the cloud, changes the file in both places.
Login to the OneDrive Desktop application to begin the syncing process:
- Click the grey cloud icon on the computer taskbar.

- Click on Sign in and enter your school email address, i.e., jsmith1234@northwoodtech.edu; click Sign in.


- Enter MyCampus password, and next click Sign in. Next, verify your identity by choosing 1 of 3 options.


- Click on Next four times.




- Select Later, next click Open my OneDrive Folder.


- File Explorer will open, showing your OneDrive folders and files

Troubleshooting OneDrive for Business
- You will see an icon (cloud) in your service tray that indicates the service is working. If the Icon has a red X on it the syncing has stopped.
