OneDrive: Synching to Computer

OneDrive

Desktop Application

Why sync your Northwood Tech OneDrive to your computer?

  • Access your frequently used OneDrive files directly from File Explorer
  • Create or edit files offline, and they sync to your OneDrive when your computer connects to the internet
  • Drag and drop files from your local device into your OneDrive through File Explorer.

Important items to understand before you set up syncing:

  • Deleting a file from your computer also deletes it from the cloud.
  • Making changes to a file on your computer or the cloud, changes the file in both places.

Login to the OneDrive Desktop application to begin the syncing process:

  • Click the grey cloud icon on the computer taskbar.
