Dial an outside number

  • To place a call, you can either use the dial pad or the touch-screen 
  • Tap to wake up the screen
  • You don't need to press 1 or 8 for an outside line, just dial a number as you normally would
  • Press the Call icon
  • The call automatically goes to speakerphone, but you can pick up the handset if you'd like use that instead

Call someone within the college

  • If you know the person's Teams number, you can dial it like a regular outside call
  • If you don't know someone's Teams number, you can click on the search icon

  • Type the name of the person you'd like to call and select their contact picture (you can also search for a room number).

  • A page will open up showing you the contact's email and Teams phone number. Tap the call icon to place a call to the contact.

  • The phone will place the call using the speaker phone. You can pick up the handset if you'd like to use it.

Call screen during a call

  • You can mute and unmute yourself using the touchscreen or physical button on the phone

  • Adjust the volume of your call using the touchscreen or physical buttons on the phone

  • The three dot icon can be used to transfer a call
  • You can add additional people to the call by tapping the Participants icon

  • You'll use the same search bar to type the name of the person you'd like to add to the current call and tap their contact image to add them
  • You can add multiple people to a current call

  • When you are finished, you can use the red phone icon to disconnect from the call
