Submitting Assignments

Details & Information

  • Previous and Next buttons found beneath the title are used to navigate between assignments.
  • The due date and time are indicated next to the calendar icon.
  • If a rubric will be used, it can be viewed by clicking on "This item is graded with a rubric".
  • Pay special attention to the number of attempts and time limit that have been imposed upon the completion of the assignment.
  • When you are ready to start an assignment, click on the View instructions button.

A Details & Information popup displays when an assignment is clicked on. The popup has a View instructions button that can be used to view the assignment instructions.

Instructions

  • Read the Assignment Instructions carefully before starting.
  • The Details & Information section will indicate whether a Grading rubric will be used.
  • If there is a rubric, click on the link and review the rubric to view the point allocation for different sections and criteria.

Submission Section

  • Complete the assignment instructions in the Submission section.
  • This section has text formatting options like Microsoft Word.
  • Tables (A), links (B), attachments (C), images (D), and videos (E) can also be used.

Not Ready to Submit?

  • The Save and Close button will save the progress you have made, but it will not submit the assignment.

Submit Your Assignment

  • The Submit button is disabled until content is added to the Submission section.
  • Click the Submit button to submit your work and complete one of the attempts allowed.
  • On the pop-up, confirm that you wish to submit the assignment.

  • A panel appears with a submission receipt.
