Learning Modules

What is a learning module?

  1. It is a container that can be expanded or collapsed, showing or hiding its content items.
  2. Content items appear as a list within the learning module.

  • They are usually used when the instructor recommends completing the content in a specific order, however the order is not forced by default.
  • Navigation arrows allow you to move to the next item listed without needing to close the current item and open the next one.

Forced sequencing enabled

  • Items within the learning module must be completed in the order listed, locking all items until the one before it has been completed.
  • Each item within the learning module has a status icon in a circle.
    • An empty circle means that you haven't started the content.
    • A partially filled black circle means the content is in progress.
    • A green circle with a check mark means that content is complete.
    • A lock icon means that you do not meet the conditions to access the content yet.

Progress tracking enabled

  • Learning modules that are complete are marked with a green checkmark and "Completed".
  • Learning modules that have not been started have a "Start" and arrow button.
  • Learning modules that are in progress have two identifiers:
    • A "Continue" and arrow button
    • A progress bar indicates the number of items in that module that have been completed compared to the total number of items in that module.
