Global Navigation Menu

Blackboard will load on the Institution page with a menu list on the left and a default view of the Institution Page.

Global Menu

• Institution Page: Check out important campus information and helpful links.
• Profile: Select your name from the list and make changes to your online persona.
• Activity: See up-to-the-minute action for all your courses.
• Courses: Navigate to past, present, and future courses.
• Calendar: View course events and due dates for all your courses.
• Messages: View and send messages in all your courses.
• Grades: See what needs grading across all your courses.
• Assist: Access a central hub for student resources to drive their success.
• Tools: Access global functions that are outside of your courses such as Portfolios and Content Collection.

Institution Page

Here students will see any announcements posted by the institution with any important messages and links to everyone in the institution. Below that students will find helpful resources including links to the Help Desk (MyHelp), The Den, Academic Support Center, Learning Technology Center and more.
